Terms of Use

⚕️ First, the most important thing: FORMAI provides coaching and nutrition guidance, not medical advice. Calorie, load and expenditure figures are estimates computed from the data you enter yourself. Before making significant changes to your training or diet — and always in case of a health condition, illness, injury or pregnancy — consult a doctor.

This is an English translation of the Slovenian terms published at formai.si/pogoji.html. In case of any discrepancy, the Slovenian version prevails.

1. Who operates the service

FORMAI is operated by Blaž Gregorc, Slovenia, as a natural person. Contact: blaz.gregorc@formai.si. The service is available at formai.si.

2. What the service is

FORMAI is an assistant for planning training and nutrition. From your profile, activities and goals it composes a weekly plan, tracks what you complete, and suggests meals. Part of the content is generated by artificial intelligence.

It is not a medical device and is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease.
It is not a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian or personal trainer.
Content generated by AI may be wrong or incomplete. Judge it with your own sense and listen to your body.

3. Age

The service is intended for people aged 15 or over. For anyone under 18, FORMAI does not plan weight loss — it plans maintenance and building fitness, because the body is still growing. Weight loss at that age belongs under medical supervision, not in an app.

4. Your account and your data

Without signing in, the app works only on your device. To synchronise between devices and to use the AI features, you sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for access to your own account.
The data you enter remains yours. You can export it at any time in Settings (“Izvozi vse” — Export all).
You can delete your account and data at any time in Settings (“Izbriši račun” — Delete account, “Izbriši na napravi” — Delete on this device) or by writing to our address.
Enter truthful data about yourself. Wrong weight, height or age means wrong calculations.

5. What is not allowed

Using the service for unlawful purposes or to the detriment of others.
Attempting to gain access to other people's accounts or to server keys.
Automated harvesting of content at a scale that burdens the service.
Presenting FORMAI content as medical, dietary or therapeutic advice.

6. Price and free use

FORMAI is currently in free early access. Free use includes up to 10 AI actions per day.
There is currently no paid plan on sale. If we introduce one, the price, the scope and your right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days will be stated before purchase.
Free early access is not a promise that the service will always be free; we will let you know in advance about any paid plan.

7. Connected services

If you connect intervals.icu (and, through it, data from a Garmin watch or another device), the terms of those services apply as well. FORMAI is not connected to Strava or Garmin Connect directly. You can disconnect intervals.icu at any time. Under Strava’s rules, activities that originate from Strava are not sent for AI processing.

8. Content and copyright

The code, design and texts of FORMAI are the copyrighted work of the operator. Content you create or enter (activities, meals, notes) remains yours. For the service to function, you grant us only permission to process it and display it back to you.

9. Availability and changes

The service is a personal project under development. It works "as is", without a warranty of uninterrupted operation. Features may be added, changed or removed; we will notify you in the app about material changes.

10. Limitation of liability

You use the service at your own responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or for damage to health and life, where mandatory law so provides.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may limit or terminate access if you use the service contrary to these terms or to the detriment of other users.

12. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. Each version carries the date of entry into force stated above. For material changes we will notify you in the app; continued use means you accept them.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

The law of the Republic of Slovenia and the mandatory EU consumer protection rules apply. Slovenian courts have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
